Dr. Christopher Mena holds a PhD in Music Education and has taught at all levels (preK-University) throughout the past 15 years. In addition to his teaching experience, his research on how to create more equitable music education programs for immigrant and marginalized youth has been published in a variety of journals and in volumes released by reputable publishing companies including Routledge and Oxford University Press. 

Dr. Mena also has extensive nonprofit experience as an operations manager and board member. He also holds a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Washington and is a recent alumni of the Ricardo Frazer Executive Leadership Program that is stewarded by Seattle Theater Group.
