Melany Bell is an award winning multidisciplinary Artist. A Black-Indigenous, Queer Female, needing to satisfy an obscure, highly disciplined, branch of holiness requiring fasting, radical transformation, prayer and meditation to reframe pain into revelation called Pentecostalism. 

She is Chair of the African American Writers’ Alliance, Diversity Board Member at Path with Art, and Company Member of Ase Theatre.  She holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Purchase College of the Arts New York and 3 certifications in nutrition.
