Bring a bit of artistry to share at the mic (priority will be given to young people actively engaged in our programs). If you don’t have a song, story, or poem to share onstage, you are welcomed to bring a potluck dish or heirloom and share its significance as it relates to the layers of your heritage. Our co-founder Joe is joining @wheelhouse.washington's “Creatives Get Real” panel next week, and we’re excited to see this conversation happen in our city. This panel is all about pulling back the curtain and talking honestly about what it really takes.
