These youth-centric, all ages sessions will feature a range of professional musicians who will each offer a mix of professional advice, musical techniques, and stories of their cultures. Beginning musicians are welcomed, and 15 of the 20 slots are reserved for young people (ages 25 and under).
The value of this class is $350 per person with a no-questions-asked sliding scale option. We seek to hold spaces where anyone can participate without financial barriers—the most important thing is that you join us!
This program is co-sponsored by our partners at Northwest Folklife. Participants who engage consistently will have the opportunity to perform at The Rhapsody Project's showcase in May of 2025 at the NW Folklife Festival!
