Last Saturday, our co-founder Joe continued our pa Last Saturday, our co-founder Joe continued our partnership with Seattle's Creative Advantage to spend a full day leading professional development workshops for Seattle public school teachers and teaching artists.

Multiple teachers had requested skills and resources related to teaching ukulele and guitar in their classrooms, and we delivered! In addition to learning to play this classic American folk song "Shady Grove", teachers also learned multiple right hand techniques for both uke and guitar, as well as the chord progression for the ragtime guitar classic "Rag Mama Rag" by "Blind Boy" Fuller of South Carolina.

This session marks the third consecutive year of an ongoing partnership with the City of Seattle to deliver culturally responsive Professional Development resources for artists, teachers, and teaching artists across the city.
